oh and one more tidbit i learned on the way home tonight listening to the radio. the current administration doesn't base it's policy on what's legal and what isn't. they literally have an army of about 10,000 lawyers in the department of justice. the administration tells them what it wants to do and it's their job to find some sort of legal precedent for it somewhere. oh yeah, and if you tell them there isn't any, you're fired. ask this guy. he used to be assistant US attorney general. he disagreed with dick cheney. he is no longer assistant US attorney general. end of story.
